Emerald Services boasts an aggressive and diverse team with deep experience in waste management and recycling.
J. Stephan Banchero, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer
Steve has over thirty-five years experience in waste management, including as principal of Rabanco. Within Rabanco, Steve was Chief Executive Officer of Northwest EnviroService, an environmental services company, from 1979 to 1995, where he gained significant expertise in fluids waste management, especially in wastewater treatment, waste oil recycling and hazardous waste.
Jerry Bartlett, Chief Environmental Compliance Officer
Jerry brings over twenty-five years experience in hazardous waste processing and treatment, with extensive experience in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Jerry is the company's designated Regulatory Compliance Officer.
Clue Westmoreland, Chief Operating Officer
Clue has over thirty-five years experience in waste management, including senior executive positions in sales, operations, and general management with Rabanco. Clue developed a highly successful recycling program focused to corporate customers and played a key role in the expansion of Emerald's waste recycling services throughout the Northwest.

Blake Hillis, President, Emerald Alaska.
Blake has lived in Alaska since 1985, with a focus in the waste management/recycling business for 14 years. He worked for Northwest Enviroservice in Alaska from 1991 to 1994, then founded Energy Recovery Services (ERS) in 1994. Blake grew ERS into one of Alaska's leading environmental services company, building an Anchorage facility, the only one of its kind endorsed by ADEC. Blake merged ERS with Emerald Services' Alaska operation to create Emerald Alaska, Inc. in 2002.
John Brigham, Vice President of Finance
John moved into the CFO role in August 2002 after twelve years of experience in several Banchero family businesses, including Northwest Waste Industries and Emerald Services. Prior to that, John, a registered CPA, worked for a regional accounting firm.
Kurt Frost, Vice President of Accounting
Kurt joined the Company in July 2009 after eighteen years at Magnolia Audio Video (a wholly owned subsidiary of Best Buy) in which he oversaw the financial reporting, information management and human resource functions as CFO/Vice President of Finance. Kurt is currently a licensed certified public accountant and prior to his tenure with Magnolia Audio Video worked for a Big Four public accounting firm."
Susan Thoman, Corporate Business Development Director
Susan has a rich background with extensive experience in hazardous waste management, waste recycling and business development. She is committed to green business initiatives and pioneering sustainability. Since 1986, Susan has worked within the chemical, environmental and recycling arena as a leading sales trainer, business educator and consultative resource to facilitate a growing awareness and commitment to environmental excellence and sustainability.
