Emerald Recycling is a division of Emerald Services, Inc., a family-owned 250-employee company with roots in waste management and recycling going back to 1938. Emerald has been a leader in recycling since the 1980's through:

Steve Banchero, our Chief Executive Officer and son of our Founder, John Banchero, Sr., responded to the demand for recycling additional petroleum-based products. He made significant investments in recycling facilities in the Northwest, including in Tacoma, Vancouver, and Anchorage. As a result, Emerald Services is now:
- The largest locally-owned recycler of fluids and solvents in the Northwest.
- Recycling 12-13 million gallons per year of waste oil, solvents, and other fluids for our satisfied industrial, automotive and government customers.
